August 17, 2026Professional, responsive, and accommodating
Niko DJ'd my daughter's 16th birthday. A true professional from start to finish. He was very responsive and accommodated her request for a playlist featuring electro-pop and even managed to slip in some old school cuts that had us bobbing our heads. He kept the energy up the whole event and helped make it a memorable night. I hope to book Niko for other events in the future, for sure.

* A seamless, dynamic DJ set built around the energy of your crowd. Niko doesn’t just hit play—he crafts a sonic journey with the instincts of a musician and the timing of a seasoned performer. Whether it’s 70s disco, 90s R&B, 2000s bangers, house music, or a mix of hit-after-hit from every decade, he knows how to string it together so it feels effortless.
* A crowd-focused approach. Every track has been battle-tested on real LA dancefloors, and his sets reflect that. These are songs chosen not just by Niko, but by the city itself—songs that get people dancing, singing, vibing, and staying longer than they planned to.

Set list
Songs would be much too long of a list, however, here is a list of ARTISTS you might hear at one of Niko's sets:
50 cent, Doechii, Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, Peggy Gou, Nelly, LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk, Biggie, Tupac, Jay-Z, Lil Yachty, Abba, Beegees, Evelyne Champaign, Gloria Gaynor, Fred Again, Talking Heads and many more.
Influences and inspiration
I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a city where the music scene was wild, wide open, and genre lines didn’t matter much. On any given day you might hear popular rap/rnb, underground hip hop, punk, disco, mariachi, indie, jazz, or even heavy metal—and most of us were into all of it at once. That kind of musical cross-pollination shaped the way I hear and play music now.
In high school, I got deep into the 2000s indie wave—bands like LCD Soundsystem, The Strokes, Bloc Party, and TV on the Radio—stuff that had grit and rhythm but also felt raw and emotional. At the same time, I was fully obsessed with club music from the 2000s, especially artists like 50 Cent, whose tracks had that undeniable swagger and bounce that still hits hard on a dancefloor. That era of rap and club music left a huge imprint on me—clean hooks, heavy beats, and songs that demand to be played loud.
All of that shows up in the way I DJ now. Whether it’s house, hip hop, dance classics, or indie remixes, I’m always pulling from that mixed-up foundation—bridging sounds and eras to keep things surprising, cohesive, and high-energy. I like music that makes you move, but I also like it to mean something.
