Hi, I'm John Sharpe Jr. I'm a filmmaker, actor, and photographer located in Chicago.

In 2017, I began producing my own content on YouTube. Over the years I have created short films, podcasts, and lifestyle content while also working with other artists and companies such ANWELLSENTERPRISE, Th3 BlkBird, and Yellow Rain Productions. In 2019, I began working with Yellow Rain as a DP for their first short film "The Damaged". After that I continued on with them as an Editor, Director, DP, and Visual consultant for 3 Years. During that time-and after-I also produced projects for music artists, models, and other creatives, gaining experience in both short and long-form content.

I got into acting around the age of when I signed up for my church's easter play. Shortly after that I joined a gospel based theater company in my hometown of Philadelphia, and I had the pleasure of playing some amazing characters and acting in the walnut street theater. From 2018 to 2020, I studied film and theater at AMDA College. And since then I have been in the Off-Broadway show, "Yesterday Is Here", Nicketta Burden's, "He Loved The Hell Out Of Me", and the commercial film for the enterprise known as EDLINKS, along with some other projects as well.

I've been a photographer for four years, gaining experience in Portrait, BTS, Event, and Lifestyle Photography. In 2021 I shot the film cover and BTS for Yellow Rain Productions', "Blight". And while I was living in nyc from 2020 to 2022, I documented a few events and photographed two hip-hop album covers. During the summer of 2022, I began to dive deeper into creating stories through street photography. And as time went on I began to adopt that same approach with other genres as well.
