Bunny Barnes - Instrumental Fingerstyle Guitarist

This uber-talented guitarist has performed on stages across the US and has been perfecting
Her playing skills for over 60 years and has been playing professionally for many of those years.
In 2023 her album was awarded Thumbpicking recording of the year by the National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame! She plays all genres of musical types with fingers that fly across the fretboard.
Bunny plays all types of gigs for large and smaller audiences and is looking forward to your call!

I have never written a musical review before, but I know what I like:
Bunny Barnes plays many of the songs I know and lots that are new to me. She plays covers, as written and her own arrangements of the covers, making sure to let her audience know that is what she is doing. She also writes and plays her own songs as well. She is very entertaining and I love her music!

From familiar standards to playful tunes, you'll relax and enjoy her music. She's accomplished and her sounds are easy-going and relaxing. Always a pleasure to hear her play.

I have heard Bunny perform on many occasions, in concert and at area restaurants. She is very personable and plays a variety of music, including pop, folk, rock, standards, oldies, ragtime and blues tunes. She was recently inducted into the National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame for her album "It Goes Like it Goes."
