Buffalo Blues Trio

The Buffalo Blues trio pays homage to some of the great ladies of the Blues like Bessie Smith, Nina Simone, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, and more. We feature some originals written by lead singer Michele Murphy as well as some obscure originals by Janis Joplin who drew from her blues influences to write some pretty great songs. We also play some standard Blues favorites. Featuring Diane Bock on upright and standard bass, Marc Butler on lead guitar and harmonica, and Michele Murphy sings. Lots of songs to dance to, with some heart rendering ballads mixed in for good measure, most importantly, they all tell a story. (link hidden)
