We hired American Underdog, led by Tommy, for a celebration of life event with about 80 guests, and they were absolutely exceptional. From the very beginning, Tommy and the band were extremely reasonable, professional, and easy to work with. They arrived on time, fully prepared with all their gear, and immediately set the tone for a meaningful and joyful gathering.
Their catalog of songs was perfect for the occasion, offering beautiful and heartfelt Americana that had our guests dancing, moving, and singing along throughout the event. They read the room effortlessly, creating moments that were both uplifting and deeply moving.
I am incredibly thankful for their performance at such an important event. I highly recommend American Underdog for anyone looking for talented musicians who bring heart, professionalism, and joy to their work.

We hired the American Underdogs for our wedding and they exceeded our expectations! The music was awesome and folks danced until they dropped! We really appreciated the music variety and the wingless of the band to come up with some slow living music for the couples dance! We loved every minute of the night! Thank you!

What to expect
You can expect a professional band that travels with top gear and a professional sound man so the volume and the mix is just right. You will also find us very easy to work with. All you need to provide is a place to plug in and a cover if we are going to be outside. Our range of songs is varied and includes many favorites from the likes of Van Morrison, The Stones, Johnny Cash, Amazing Rhythm Aces, George Thorogood, Bob Seeger, Dire Straits, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Jimmy Buffet, Warren Zevon, CC&R, JJ Cale, Elvis Presley, The Mavericks, The Georgia Satellites, Johnny Rivers, Dwight Yoakum, Bo Didley and many more!
