Overview

An international motivational speaker, native to the St. Louis area has an extraordinary story of survival. When he was 11 months old, his own father, who had worked in the medical field, injected him with HIV-tainted blood. Offering no hope to Brryan’s family, doctors diagnosed Brryan, then five years old, with AIDS. Believing they had done everything they could to save his life, doctors expected him to die. By God’s grace, he defied the odds and lives on to represent a story of hope, courage, forgiveness and faith. One’s choice is either victim or victory.

A man with a mission

I am so excited to write a review for Brryan Jackson! I have been a high school teacher for 12 years. I have had the amazing opportunity to have Brryan speak in front of my high school health classes for over 6 years now. The second Brryan starts telling his story, he hooks you in. He is funny, heartfelt, and so incredibly engaging. Brryan has the ability to relate to any audience. He is a man with an incredible story to tell. His story is inspirational on every level. Brryan is on a mission to educate people about HIV/AIDS, so people can focus on prevention. He leaves his audience feeling hopeful. "Hope is Vital. Spread the word, not the virus."
Don't miss out on such an amazing guest speaker! Brryan Jackson will leave feeling hopeful for the future.

A wonderful, wonderful speaker.

I first met Brryan Jackson two years ago, when he spoke in my college's Health and Wellness class. When I heard that we would be having a speaker about HIV, I was expecting a boring, depressing lecture about the dangers of sharing needles and having unprotected sex.

Brryan was anything but that.

He was charming, charismatic, touching, and extremely funny. His story, while difficult and touching, was not the usual preachy tripe I hear from most speakers about this topic. He spoke with passion, but frequently used humor to keep the mood light (my personal favorite line was "put me in a wheelchair and call me roll-AIDS"). Since then, I've been able to spend time with Brryan in a social setting, and I can say that his speaking persona is 100% genuine. He's just as enjoyable to listen to 1-on-1 as he is on stage.

Whatever you do, please, please, hire Brryan to speak. You will absolutely not regret it.

Truly Inspirational Speaker!

Brryan was the guest speaker at the Northeast Florida 14th Annual World AIDS Day Community Awards Luncheon in December 2015. The story is powerful and moving and a must hear for everyone. Brryan is a truly inspiring person filled with confidence, empathy and hope. His words kept the audience spellbound and brought tears to their eyes and also some laughter. It is the hope of our community to host future events with Brryan. I offer my strongest recommendation for bringing Brryan to your next event.

About

The extraordinary part of my story began when I was only 11 months old. My father, who worked in the medical field at the time, insidiously injected me with HIV-tainted blood. Five years later, unaware of my father's heinous actions, doctors diagnosed me with full-blown AIDS.

Believing they had done everything possible, physicians offered no hope to my family and expected me to die. Miraculously, I defied the odds and live on to represent a story of courage, perseverance, forgiveness, and faith.

Since the age of 13, I have used my incredible story to impact lives world-wide from speaking at Congressional briefings in Washington D.C. to high schools, colleges, juvenile centers, and youth organizations across the nation. This journey of hope has taken me internationally to Haiti, Ecuador, England, and Africa. I see my vast experiences as an avenue to encourage others at every event. Winner of a TeenNick Halo Award, I have also been featured as one of People Magazine's "Heroes Among Us" and ABC World News/Diane Sawyer's "Person of the Week.”

Facing incredible health and social challenges, my life has been a continual battle, yet I strive to be a catalyst for offering relatable, accurate information along with humor to educate the world on HIV, inspire others to overcome adversity and empower them to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. My desire is for every audience to realize that no struggle is too big for hope to conquer and forgiveness changes lives. There is a choice: Victim? Or VICTORY!
