Brothers From Other Mothers

The Brothers From Other Mothers put on memorable performances. Every venue we've played at has asked us back. We care about having a quality product, with great sound quality, and professionalism. It just sounds really good because we have members with years of experience, have recorded professionally, and have done live sound professionally (including managing venues at the Rochester International Jazz Fest). That means the band shows up on time, smiling, and ready to play. We respond to your needs and make adjustments that best support you. By using a variety of songs, stage lighting (upon request) and different guitars the band provides a dynamic show that's upbeat, funky, and melodic.

The band is comprised of veteran musicians who put on a show with skilled technique, great tone, vocal harmonies and all out jams.

We bundle 2-3 songs by artist together within our set lists (i.e. 3 Tom Petty songs then 2 Chris Stapleton songs). It's like a bunch of mini tribute bands rolled into one. While we are a cover band we put our own creative spin and interpretations into the songs.

Is there a song you really want to have? Let us know ahead of time and we will make every effort to include it.

Have somebody who's a musician? Let us know ahead of time and we will make every effort to have them join us on stage or do their own performance during a set break.

We're centered around a belief that music is love and best created with friends to be shared with all who love live music.

Our philosophy is simple; there's a family you're born in and a family you choose.... they're your brothers from other mothers.

1. Band will provide all required musical and sound-reinforcement equipment for small and medium venues, and will operate all equipment, at no additional cost to Customer.
2. Band agrees that equipment set-up and sound checks will be completed by (TBD) on the day of performance, provided at least one hour are available prior to that time for equipment load-in, set-up and sound check.
3. Band will be allowed to load out its equipment and to leave promptly upon completion of the performance. Band will make all reasonable efforts not to be disruptive, if Customer’s function has not yet concluded.
4. Band reserves the right to select the music that will be performed.
5. Band will try to accommodate song requests to the extent possible.
6. Band will allow individuals designated by Customer to have access to microphone for announcements.
7. Band may allow one or more individuals to join the Band on-stage during the performance and maintains the right to refuse any other individuals to come on-stage.
8. It is Customer’s responsibility to be aware of, and to comply with, all local ordinances and neighborhood or condominium rules concerning noise or light. If the performance is cancelled or shortened due to neighbor complaints or police order, payment in full of the Performance Fee will still be due.
