Bri Blue

Brianni 'Bri' Blue is an author, a speaker, a poet, and a spoken word artist hailing from Berkeley, CA. She has performed at events for student organizations at college campuses throughout CA, as well as churches, youth centers, graduations, and more. Most notably, Bri appeared on TV One's pilot season of Verses and Flow and co-facilitated the writing workshops at UC Berkeley's 28th Annual Empowering Women Of Color Conference (EWOCC). To date, Bri has self-released 3 books of poetry, her most recent being 'Destination: Still Unknown... Pack Light' which is currently available for purchase. Her network is vast and growing- since February 2013, she has facilitated 'Wordsmith Wednesday,' a weekly segment on Facebook viewable by thousands where she invites all writers, readers, poets, authors, and supporters to join in and share their pieces of writing as well as their love and appreciation for the written & spoken word. She also offers writing tips, publishing information, performance opportunities, and a chance to network with like-minded individuals during this segment. Mrs. Blue is also the host/creator of Speak Easy: an Open Mic Showcase in Oakland, CA every Sunday night featuring some of the most talented artists in the area and beyond which started almost 5 months ago and is growing quickly. From spoken word performances to motivational speeches empowering women and uplifting youth and her community to eloquently delivering content and information in corporate environments, Bri can cover all bases when it comes to being a speaker/spokesperson for your organization/event.
