August 16, 2016Brenda is a gifted communicator who has a heart for teenagers. Her primary topics are pain and suffering in light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These may seem like a glumly topic but it always hits home to her audience. Many youth come through our camp with great burdens that they struggle to deal with in a mature/healthy way. Brenda encourages her audience to live a brave life and revisit many past scars/wounds so that the healing process may begin as they find that their greatest hope is in the life of Jesus.
Brenda is a woman who speaks Biblical truth and will believe in your students as young men and women who bear the image of God who will go forth into their communities and share the hope they have in Christ.

The ideal event would have a setting where Brenda would be more accessible to the audience. Brenda knows that can have many different settings but she rarely just talks “at” people. There are stories being told, some that need responses. There are vulnerable opportunities being given which are more effective when she is not removed from the audience on a large platform thus appearing invulnerable. If the group is a teen group (or more flexible), Brenda will try to bring as many of the 5 senses into the message for greater "sticktuitiveness."

Brenda Seefeldt Amodea has been living a brave and vulnerable life with 40+ years of ministry—39 years with youth, currently a lead pastor who focuses on youth. She loves youth—still. Brenda has been married to John Amodea since 1997. John is a worship leader, career musician, and song writer. He has written music that heals the soul as music can.
