Professionalism. I show up early, set up quickly, dress nicely, start on time, keep the volume at a reasonable level and make announcements if needed. I'm polite and courteous to staff and audience and I'm happy to work with event planner to provide the best experience possible.
I was in a band with Randy Meisner of the Eagles and Rick Roberts of Firefall. In addition to singing several of my own songs, I play guitar, sax, flute and keyboards in the band. We toured the US and Canada for several years.
I've also performed with Dave Mason, Stu Hamm, Russ Freeman, Mary MacGregor, and America, and with actors Robin Williams, Tom Hank and Martin Short.
Lately I've been scoring films, "The Peace Experience" has just started appearing in Festivals.
Minimum sound system required: PA with two speakers. Mixer with at least 4 XLR inputs. 2 Sure SM 58 microphones or equivalent with stands, clips and cables. Monitor speakers. Electric power strip and extension cords.
Artist can provide a PA system for additional fee.
