Body of Evidence is a Christian go-go and worship band based in the Washington, D.C. area.

Origins and Foundation

• Founder: The band was founded by the late Jeffrey Davis, who grew up in Washington, D.C., and wanted to combine traditional Christian worship with the distinctive percussion-heavy sound of D.C. go-go music.
• Leadership: The group is led by Pastor Curtis DK Thomas (Pastor Curtis Thomas III). The band's musical direction features multigenerational involvement, including his son Elshai Thomas (who started playing as a young child and serves as the band's drummer) and musical director Ezekiel Fletcher.
• Legacy: Jeffrey Davis passed away in 2016, but his vision and musical legacy continue through the band.

Musical Style and Mission

• Genre: Known as the "Mature Gospel Party Experience" or a gospel go-go outfit, they blend gospel lyrics and church praise with live go-go beats.
• Mission: Their stated vision is to act as a "resting place for God" while performing, using the regional go-go sound to reach audiences and spread a message of faith.

• Performances & Media: They have performed at Pre-Stellar events and won The Sound, a streaming channel talent show. They actively tour and perform across regional venues, including shows in North Carolina and local D.C.-area church and cultural stages
