Overview
BOD has been part of the New York City music scene for over a decade ago. A distinct cover band with a mission to be the band that, on any given night, gives our audience the most fun they’ve ever had- where every show is special, exciting and unforgettable! Well known in and around the Tri-state area, BOD has participated several citiy-sponsored events including the NYC Marathon (headlining at the finish line), the the NYC Triathlon, the Queens 10k and the NJ Marathon, as well as large corporate events, weddings, and charity functions benefiting amazing causes and organizations like St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

About
Two outstanding veterans of the New York City and Tri-state area music scene have come together to form one of the most exciting and unique bands around. Killer Joe Ferraro, 2012 inductee into the NY Blues Hall of Fame, the proclaimed "Bodyguard to the Blues" brings his mastery of the harmonica and energetic vocals along with a engaging performance that gets the crowd in a frenzy every time. His boundless energy shines on classic blues and R&B hits like Soul Man, Let The Good Times Roll and Roll Over Beethoven.
Barry Allen Friedman's guitar prowess and power vocals completes the other half of this unique combo. An accomplished artist, songwriter and leader of the popular cover band BOD, Barry contributes the classic rock and blues rock elements to the show. His versatility on the guitar and dominating vocals bring rock's greatest hits from Van Halen, Journey, Led Zeppelin and countless others to the show.
With frequent shows at some of New York's City's most popular locations on Bleecker Street, regular bookings at Resorts World Casino at Aqueduct Raceway, and at area festivals and corporate-sponsored events, most notably as the featured band at the finish line of the NYC Marathon, together Killer Joe and Barry Allen Friedman are an unstoppable force that bring boundless entertainment to every show they play.
