Bob Schembre Music can offer you an acoustic guitar duo who play the the classic hits we grew up with. If you're looking for the standards, 50's thru current, performed in a quieter, acoustic guitar setting, or we can add a drum machine or percussionist to suit your requirements. We play a variety of venues: restaurants, pubs, private parties (weddings, etc), and corporate events. We can fit in surprisingly small spaces. Classic rock/pop songs from the 60's up till today performed on acoustic guitars and two part harmonies. Sometimes we employ a drum machine to get a fuller band sound. Both Bob & Gary are multi-instrumentalists, and can widen the range of performance depending on the venue and event needs.
Bob & Gary grew up in the north eastern USA being musically influenced by the music of the Beatles and the British invasion and the music that followed throughout the 70's. Their experience in plying for audiences in clubs and special events goes back to the 70's.
We are two acoustic guitars, two vocalist, which is all plugged in to a PA system (we have our own, or we can use yours). We only require electricity to run our equipment, and lighting if you want us to be seen. We can set up and break down within a half hour.
