Bob Schembre Music can offer you an acoustic guitar duo who play the the classic hits we grew up with. If you're looking for the standards, 50's thru current, performed in a quieter, acoustic guitar setting, or we can add a drum machine or percussionist to suit your requirements. We play a variety of venues: restaurants, pubs, private parties (weddings, etc), and corporate events. We can fit in surprisingly small spaces. Bob Schembre performs classic rock and pop songs from the 1960s to today, bringing familiar favourites to life with acoustic guitar and vocals. A multi-instrumentalist, Bob tailors each performance to suit the venue and event, incorporating a drum machine and additional instruments when appropriate for a fuller sound.
Bob Schembre is a singer and multi-instrumentalist whose musical roots run from the Beatles and the British Invasion to the classic singer-songwriters of the 1970s. Raised in the northeastern United States, Bob has been performing for audiences at clubs and special events since the ’70s.
Now based in Ulverston, Cumbria, Bob brings decades of experience to acoustic performances featuring favourites by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Gordon Lightfoot and more. With guitar, vocals and a love of storytelling through song, he creates a warm, relaxed atmosphere filled with familiar melodies and timeless music.
I perform on acoustic guitar and electric keyboards, keeping the sound natural and the focus on the live performance. I use effects sparingly to enhance the music while preserving an authentic, personal feel.
