Blue Collar Men - The Music of STYX

Blue Collar Men is a tribute to the great music of the band Styx. We pride ourselves on performing the album versions of Styx's music. We have 4 lead vocalists and deliver those Styx-like harmonies that bring you back in time! We do not use any vocal samples everything is 100% live! Our audiences have cheered, danced and sang along with this great music. We can also partner with several other tribute artists like Urgent (Foreigner), Panorama (The Cars), The Petty Revival (Tom Petty), Zoo2 (U2) and Speedwagon (REO Speedwagon) to provide a full evening of iconic Rock & Roll Music!

Blue Collar Men is a Tribute to the Music of Styx. Formed in May of 2023 the band is focused on performing the Album versions of your favorite Styx songs and eventually some deep cuts.

The band consists of 5 experienced and talented musicians each bringing their individual reverence for Styx’s legacy, and joined in a combined mission to faithfully represent Styx’s music in live performance.

The following technical requirements are divided into what the artist will supply versus what the venue is expected to supply as part of the event. Advance any requirements that cannot be met or contact the artist contact noted above with any questions, exceptions or clarifications.

Artist will Supply
● All backline - Modelers for guitars, bass and keyboards (no amps on stage). 7- piece drum kit.
● FOH Console and IEM Monitor system.
● All microphones, mic stands, DI’s, drop snakes and cables.
● Soft goods such as banners and or back drops.
● FOH and Monitor engineers

Venue to Supply
● 3-Way concert grade FOH mains - ability to accept PA drive lines to main PA. Left/Right/Sub/Fill can be provided from either stage left or FOH position.
● 120 VAC Edison power drops per stage plot.
● 8’ X 8’ drum riser.
● 1 Lighting Designer (LD) to operate venue stage lighting system.
● 1 Venue A1 to support Main PA and work with artist FOH engineer.
● CAT5E Shielded home run from FOH to Stage. (Artist carries CAT5E digital snake if the venue does not have infrastructure.)
● 120 VAC Edison at FOH position for FOH console.
● Video projection for imagery during show with HDMI feed or ability to accept file to venue playback system.

Load-In / Load Out
● A clear path is to be available for artist to load equipment into and out of the venue along with loading carts/dollies if required. Depending on venue and load-in conditions, stage hands may be required if distance to stage is greater than 50 feet, has staircases or if deadlifts over 2 feet are required.
