Better Than Bacon Improv

Better Than Bacon is a versatile group. We can do shows with as little as 4 people, or as many as 11. Our shows can vary in length from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Each show is unique and we’re able to tailor our content to the audience.

We also have several improv instructors on our team to create and facilitate workshops, classes, or private parties that want a fun activity.

Bacon's performances, sparked by audience suggestions, guarantee a unique and hilarious experience every time. Founded in 2010, our group originated from a band of improv enthusiasts who connected in a local comedy class. After organizing into a formal troupe, BTB debuted professionally in 2011.

BTB’s cast members hail from all over the SE Philly suburbs and our troupe's backgrounds span improv, acting, stand-up comedy, and music. This variety infuses each show with rich, comedic creativity, making Better Than Bacon a must-see staple in the local comedy scene.

Depending on the facility, we typically need chairs and a small table for our stage.

If the room is large, we will need lapel or handless mics for each cast member and possibly 2 handheld mics for audience games. We will also need someone to run sound.
