For a standard backing-track performance, Ben Kid Creole generally provides his own speaker and playback equipment. Access to a safe and reliable electrical outlet near the performance area is required.

For larger events, theaters, or venues with an installed sound system, use of the venue’s speakers, microphones, sound equipment, stage lighting, and sound technician may be required. The venue should provide information about its available equipment before the event so the proper arrangements can be made.

Live-band performances require additional sound and electrical accommodations for instruments, microphones, speakers, monitors, amplifiers, and other equipment. Professional sound reinforcement, lighting, and an experienced sound technician may be required, particularly for larger staged performances.

When a live band is booked, the band or its representative will communicate with the client or venue regarding equipment, electrical needs, sound check, load-in times, technical specifications, and any other production requirements.

Because live-band performances involve additional musicians, equipment, preparation, rehearsal, and coordination, they are priced higher than standard backing-track performances.

Additional travel expenses may apply when an event is located outside Ben Kid Creole’s local performance area. Depending on the distance and event schedule, these expenses may include mileage, transportation, tolls, parking, hotel accommodations, or other reasonable travel-related costs.

Live-band bookings may require separate travel and lodging expenses for the musicians. Ben Kid Creole’s travel and lodging costs are separate from any expenses required for the band. All additional fees and technical requirements will be discussed and agreed upon before the booking is finalized.
