What I offer:

Solo Saxophone: I will bring a PA system and play saxophone over tracks. I call this "Sax and Tracks". You can completely customize what kind of music you would like to hear. 1 hour of Mexican boleros? 30 minutes of old school RnB? 20 minutes of 12th century gregorian chants...No problem! I am here to be adaptable and fit your every need.

Saxophone with Guitar or Keys DUO: This option requires that I hire an additional musician to play with me. Guitar or piano is completely up to you! We can play jazz, pop covers, rnb, funk etc.

Saxophone with DJ: This option includes myself playing with a DJ. Great for wedding receptions or private parties. Crowds LOVE this option because it allows them to interact with the saxophonist and be fully immersed in the performative experience.

Recording and Tracking: Do you need horn lines or a ripping sax solo on your next musical project? Look no further! once we negotiate a price, simply send me your track and I can record whatever you need all from my home studio. I can have stems recorded and sent very quickly with studio grade quality.

Ben was born in St. Louis, Missouri and began playing music at an early age, his first instrument was the saxophone and it has become his lifelong companion. He attended the University of North Texas in 2016 and graduated with a bachelors in Jazz Studies/Performance. In 2020 Ben moved to East Dallas and began performing with DFW's most renowned party band, Emerald City of which he is still an active member. Since then he has played all around the world including places like Hawaii, Aruba, Ireland, Mexico, Colombia, Spain and much more. His love for music and production sparked his side project "Becena" where his love for beat-making and saxophone collided and formed his artist moniker. His love for music, artistry, and limitless self-expression is only part of what makes Ben an incredibly gifted creative.
