Behind the Stick LA

I had the pleasure of working with Behind the Stick for an all day event - 2 back to back birthday parties at my house. The waitstaff was amazing! They were diligent, professional, hard working and had a very upbeat attitude throughout. I also hired their bartender. He was on another level. Cool, calm and perfect. His drinks were on point! Before the event, we connected several times to curate a special menu, and I was given a detailed list for preparation. I will absolutely work with them again.

I hired 3 waitstaff for my son’s rehearsal dinner and party. They came prepared, already briefed on what I needed for the evening, and ready to work. They made the evening go smoothly and I did t worry once about anything in the kitchen.

Behind the Stick LA was exactly what we were looking for. From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and care were noticed not only by us as hosts, but by many of our guests as well.

Selena and Elle were exceptional. As hosts, we quickly became busy managing other parts of the event, and they were able to step in and handle everything with very little direction from us. With more than 70 guests, there are always unexpected needs—supplies running low, guests needing assistance, and the general organization that comes with a larger gathering. They stayed ahead of everything and helped keep the event running smoothly and orderly.

The team was transparent, self-sufficient, attentive, and genuinely kind. They made our guests feel comfortable and allowed us to spend more time enjoying the event rather than worrying about the small details.

We truly appreciated their service and would absolutely recommend Behind the Stick LA to anyone looking for a dependable and professional event staff. We would gladly use their services again.

It was pretty bad, from not coordinating the day correctly to making us add an assistant only a couple weeks before the wedding fir an additional $300. She waa not well and did not coordinate the rehearsal walk correctly. It a tally threw my timing off and took me twice as long to get to the alter. I brought this to Talins attention. She ignored it. Then I had pictures and written instructions on every aspect of decor, where to place it, how to turn on candles, etc. I stressed to Talin how important the xandle light was. My vision was many candles down the aisle. I downsized my amount of candles to make it easier on them. As I walked down, there was not 1 candle lit down the aisle and our arch lights were not on. I got nothing but excuses. She blamed the remote control for not working. Yet, it worked in the reception, which leads me to believe she forgot to turn the candles on. Then she did not turn on the other lights on the lanterns. Again, all noted, but ignored. Our vision was jot executed in the least bit. She lost some of my wedding decor and blew it off when I told her. Day of, my aisle walk got messed up, not 1 simple light on,even though I stressed it to her. The reception, the dj did not announce cake cutting or champagne toast. Talin was nowhere in sight (as they stayed outside our event), I had to ask the dj for the announcement. By that time, alot of guests had left. Our table set up was wrong and talin should have had the venue correct it. I got excuses about every pot brought up.
When you fail the client and do not execute according to contract, you should take responsibility and tey to make it right with the client. She made no attempt. Had she discounted her assistant or given the tip back, we would've been satisfied. She took mo accountability and after her assistant screwed up,she defended her cause shes a relative I found out. Poor business practice to add extra charges late in the game, then not execute according to plan. We paid her to coordinate and make sure things ran smoothly. She did not do this, it was a complete chaotic mess and she did nothing to correct their mistakes and we still paid for a service not fulfilled.
