Matt Newman is a beatboxer and speaker who has performed for 100,000+ live and millions more online in events such as America's Got Talent, music videos, live shows, and an Emmy Award-Winning Christmas TV Special. From 2016 to 2020 he put his skills to use in BYU Vocal Point and in 2018 was a top contestant in the Las Vegas Beatbox Battle. Beatboxing has become a source of creative inspiration for Matt, he now encourages others to pursue their passions regardless of what stands in the way.
Even in smaller conference areas, high quality speakers are essential to Matt's performance. He brings his own microphone and loopstation that can be routed directly into a sound board or set of speakers.
It's preferable to get at least 2 hours of dedicated sound check time before the event. Matt will work with your event needs if this isn't possible.
A table at least 5ft wide and 2 feet deep is needed for a few sound devices. Usually this is set center stage, but it can be set off to the side a bit if needed.
