About

Reginald Payne/Bassist/Music Director Reginald Payne was born in Washington, D.C. on September 9, 1989. He began playing drums at the age of 4, which started his love for music. By age 13 he had learned to play 6 instruments including piano, saxophone, tuba, trombone, bass, and by the time he graduated high school he had learned 5 additional instruments, which he continued to play in various school and church ensembles until he graduated high school in 2007. He has also been the music director, arranger, and composer for many of those ensembles. Reginald was featured on bass, saxophone, and vocals on DuVal High Schools first album and is the bassist on their alumni album. After graduating in 2007 Reginald received a full music scholarship to Bowie State University in Bowie, MD for piano and trombone where he studied Music Technology for two years. Following Bowie, he attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA where he studied Bass and Professional Music with a concentration

Additional booking notes

All I need is a three prong outlet to plug into and I am set. I have my own amps and effects as well as the rest of my band is the same. Extra sound reenforcement will be the responsibility of the client or can be provided at an additional fee. Our equipment is included with our service ( i.e amps, keyboards, guitars, drums, etc) with no of additional charge.

I will play any genre you want. I will customize each set list to the clients liking, needs, and wants. You can even send me the songs you want to hear at your event and I can perform solo or with my band Reginald Payne & TRIBE Inc.

Everything that I have heard, experienced, and felt in my life has bought my playing to what it is today and I am grateful for that.
