Winner of the 2026 “Texas Funny” stand up comedy competition. TV credit includes “Shed G and Friends” on CW33 and has worked with comedians Nate Bargatze, Jon Lovitz and Tom Arnold. He’s headlined at the State Fair of Texas and the Plano Comedy Festival. He’s featured at Hyena’s, The Improv, Mic Drop, Loony Bin and other comedy clubs as well as The Star owned by the Dallas Cowboys.

August 13, 2018Lots of laughter and fun with Barry Whitewater
I first heard Barry at a Brew-ha-ha event this spring, and then hired him to do a 30-minute stand-up routine for an event at TCU for about 70 professionals and alums who were earning a graduate certificate from my program. He was absolutely wonderful, giving all of us a break during a busy week of studying and learning. He really worked to fit his jokes and humor with this crowd of people from across the country and from the DFW area--good generational fit, some fun kid jokes, suburban humor and more. I would highly recommend him to anyone in any setting, since I've also seen him perform in a club setting.
