Axe Play

Axe Play offers two ways to bring people together: come to our Hudson, New Hampshire venue, or let us bring the experience to you.

At our venue, groups get a fully hosted interactive experience featuring axe and knife throwing along with some decidedly less traditional throwing options. Our experienced Axeperts provide safety instruction, coaching, and event support from start to finish. Groups can keep things casual or add friendly competition, games, and challenges. Our venue also offers a full bar, catering options, and space for groups to spend time together before, during, and after throwing.

For corporate outings, team building, employee appreciation, birthdays, celebrations, and other private groups, we can tailor the experience to the group rather than forcing everyone through a rigid program. Some groups want competition. Others just want to throw, laugh, have a drink, and spend time together. We can accommodate both.

Want us to come to you? Axe Play also operates a fully staffed mobile throwing experience for corporate events, company picnics, festivals, weddings, community events, and private parties throughout New England. We bring the equipment, targets, throwing lanes, and experienced staff and handle the setup, safety instruction, coaching, and event flow.

Guests don't need any previous throwing experience at either location. We work with first-time and experienced throwers alike, teaching proper technique and helping everyone get comfortable before they start.

For larger off-site events, guests can rotate through the mobile experience throughout the event, making Axe Play an interactive attraction alongside food, music, games, and other activities. Velcro archery is also available as a mobile add-on, providing another way to get guests involved and helping accommodate larger groups.

Whether your group comes to Axe Play or Axe Play comes to you, the goal is the same: we handle the experience so the organizer can be part of the event instead of managing it.

Axe Play is a veteran-owned interactive entertainment company based in Hudson, New Hampshire. Founded in 2020 by Matt and Maria Keller, Axe Play began as an indoor axe and knife throwing venue and has grown to provide fully staffed mobile throwing experiences for corporate events, company picnics, employee appreciation events, community celebrations, weddings, private parties, and festivals throughout New England.

Our team has years of experience introducing first-time throwers to axes, knives, tomahawks, and some decidedly less traditional throwing implements. We handle the equipment, setup, safety instruction, coaching, and event flow, allowing organizers to enjoy their event while we take care of the experience.

Axe Play has worked with companies including BAE Systems, SIG Sauer, Generate Biomedicines, Teleflex, Vygon, Elmo Motion Control, Ledvance, and many others. Our mobile operation has also been part of large corporate and community events with hundreds of attendees, including events with approximately 400 and 600 employees.

Whether we're entertaining a small private group or serving as an interactive attraction at a large company event, our goal is the same: create an experience that gets people participating, laughing, competing, and spending time together.

Axe Play is completely self-contained. We provide our own equipment, targets, staffing, safety gear, and everything needed to operate the experience. No power, lighting, sound system, staging, or other technical support is required from the event host.

All we need is an appropriate, level space for our mobile setup and people ready to have a good time. We'll handle the rest.
