Whether carried softly by a serene background of classical music, or entertained by pop melodies on the violin, my music always adds a unique flair to a typical event. Guests often comment on how special an event is with a live violinist! For studio recordings, it is my top priority to help create the sound my client is looking for. I draw on my experience and flexibility as an artist to make the recording a success.
Russian American violinist Aviva Chertok Li has performed around the U.S. as well as in England, Israel, Canada and China. A winner of numerous awards in chamber music, including 1st places at the Discover National Chamber Competition and Rembrandt Chamber Music Competitions, Aviva has been featured on radio stations around the U.S., including Chicago’s WFMT, The Public’s Radio 88.1 in Rhode Island, and on NPR’s From the Top.
Aviva earned her master’s degree in violin performance from the Royal College of Music in London, where she was a student of Itzhak Rashkovsky and Michal Cwizewicz, and holds a B.M. with Honors from the University of Michigan, where she studied with Andrew Jennings. Aviva lives in the Chicago area, where she performs as a freelance chamber and solo musician. A passionate teacher, Aviva also maintains a studio of over 25 students in the suburbs of Chicago.
I drive to events, and can come for rehearsals if need be.
