What to expect

Avalon’s performance is energetic, interactive, and immersive, blending music, stagecraft, and audience connection. Expect dynamic lighting, sound effects, and visual elements that enhance the music. The energy builds with each song, especially during anthems or crowd favorites. Avalon often follows a planned setlist but may adapt it based on audience response. Popular songs are usually the highlights, and transitions between tracks are smooth and well-timed. The performance will be a blend of quality musicianship, three and four part harmony and lead vocals.

About

Donna Hewitt - Lead Vocalist and Guitarist
Donna has been a singer and playing guitar since she was 10 years old. She has fronted several bands in New York City and New Jersey, and has performed studio work with Cindy Lauper and Lorna Luft and can be seen in Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart Lovemongers video concert performance, "The Road Home". After moving to Florida she found Avalon and loved being in a band that chose Classic Rock songs which enables her to push her vocal envelope.

Roger Bastien - Drummer
Roger has been playing for more than three decades, beginning his musical journey in Michigan in the early 1990's with both cover and original bands. After relocating to Nashville, he spent several years performing on the city's live music circuit, where he had the opportunity to play alongside many talented musicians and further develop his style and musicianship. During the time he also worked for the Gibson Guitar Showroom in downtown Nashville, immersing himself in one of the world's most iconic music brands and the heart of Music City. Now based in Florida Roger is one of the founding members of Avalon bringing energy, experience, and solid groove to every performance.

Michael Maddamma - Bassist / Vocalist / Studio Artist
Originally based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Michael had interest in music at a very young age. He took guitar lessons at the age of nine. Michael joined my first band in 1971 a top 40 cover and show band. He was influenced by Stanley Clark, an innovative bassist of the time. He performed professionally throughout the seventies touring throughout the country and oversees. He has spent time in the studio recording tracts for both songwriters and original numbers. His band has shared billing with groups such as Blood, Sweat and Tears, The Temptations, Tina Turner and The Stillistics. Michael relocated to Florida in the early 80's. He performed with a Country Rock Band and two Classic Rock Bands before joining Avalon.

Mark Krugie - Keyboard / Vocalist
Mark started taking piano lessons in elementary school but eventually ditched Bach and Beethoven for the Beatles and the Beach Boys. He realized that he could find more enjoyment playing rock and roll music using 88 keys or six strings. Mark has played in a variety of bands covering multiple genres, while performing in venues of all sizes. His goal is to entertain and make it worthwhile to enjoy a night out experiencing live music.

C. Jude Rayola - Lead Guitar / Vocalist
