We were so lucky to have Ava play the cello at our wedding — it made the whole day feel even more beautiful and special. The music was absolutely stunning, and so many guests told us how much they loved it! Not only was she incredibly talented, but she was also so easy and wonderful to work with. Ava was amazing! Through the planning process as well as day of. The cello and violin combo was magical while walking down the aisle. Between my teaching career, moving across the country, and planning a wedding this summer Ava was very helpful and patient throughout the entire planning process. Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. Ava was very responsive through the whole process. The music selection was awesome and we found everything we wanted. On the day of the wedding, the ensemble showed up early and worked with event staff directly, helping make a better decision about avoiding mics during a windy day on the rooftop. The quartet's playing was beautiful. They were able to extend one song during the processional and played the perfect snippet when the bride walked down the aisle. This was an amazing enhancement to our wedding and I'm grateful to Ava and the other musicians for helping make this such a memorable moment!

About
Ava Lambert, cello, is an active performer and chamber musician in Minneapolis. She received her Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the University of Minnesota School of Music as a Leonard Borgman scholar. Ava has performed as a featured guest with the Minnesota Sinfonia, Buffalo Community Orchestra, University Opera Theatre, and University of Minnesota Wind Ensemble and Summer Orchestra. She is currently assistant principal cello with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra.
Ava performs frequently as a soloist and in groups at weddings, receptions, religious services, and special events around the Twin Cities. She also provides contemporary cello services for recordings or performances.

For outdoor ceremony and/or reception venues, a shaded/covered area for the musician(s) and their instruments is highly recommended and, in most cases, required, at the discretion of the musician(s). The musician(s) will not be required to play outdoors in temperatures over 95°F or in temperatures under 55°F, even if provided with adequate coverage. Musician(s) will cease playing to case their instruments in the event of any rain or strong winds. In the event of inclement weather, such as tornado warnings, blizzards, or flood conditions – or if musician(s) deems it is truly unsafe to drive – booked musician(s) will not attend, and purchaser will be refunded. The booking fee is non-refundable.
