Founded in Brooksville, Maine in 1974, the Atlantic Clarion Steel Band has become widely known throughout the New England area for its outstanding performances at festivals, parades, clubs, parties and concert halls. For most audiences to hear them play is to discover the versatility of the modern steel pan.
This is a modern steel drum band gleaming and tuned to an astonishing degree of clarity, playing an amazing range of music from concert classics to pop, from jazz to calypso: a chamber ensemble, a jazz band and a party band all in one.

We require 240 sq feet (12'X20') smooth surface to set up. If the gig is outdoor, we need shade from sun, and protection from rain. We do not play outdoor in the winter. We need access to performance site an hour ahead to set up. We do not normally use sound system, if required, it needs to be provided and payed for.
