At Your Service!!!

I booked her services a month in advance for my wedding reception. After booking, I followed up several times by email and text, and she eventually confirmed the event, explaining that she had been too busy to respond promptly. In hindsight, I wish I had canceled the booking at that point.
The week of my wedding, I sent her the itinerary and detailed job responsibilities. She reconfirmed that she would be providing the agreed-upon service. However, on the day of my event, she did not contact me until approximately one hour before the reception, apologizing and informing me that her servers were unavailable. She said she was trying to send someone in their place.

The individual she ultimately sent was not appropriately prepared or presented for a professional wedding reception. My chef, who was already on-site, felt that the individual was not suitable to work the event and asked him to leave. Among the concerns noted were visibly dirty nails, an unkempt appearance, and a strong odor that suggested he had not showered.

Thankfully, my wedding reception turned out beautifully despite this situation. However, my family members, who were supposed to be enjoying and celebrating with me, had to step in and help serve, along with two of my guests. This was extremely disappointing and unfair to the people who had come to celebrate my special day.

For me, this experience was about more than simply not having the staff I paid for. It was about professionalism, communication, reliability, and keeping your word. When someone books and reconfirms a service for an important event like a wedding, they should be able to count on that commitment.

I am currently waiting to receive my refund. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend that others exercise caution before hiring this service. I hope this experience encourages the business to take its commitments and the quality of service provided much more seriously.

The ladies with At Your Service did an absolutely wonderful job at our corporate picnic event (about 100-150 people total). I greatly appreciated the level of communication Tahirah and Zee provided us with both ahead and during our event, helping to ensure we would have a successful day. They helped me with recipe ideas, ingredient lists, and even brought their own portable bar to serve from. Extremely professional service all around. The girls were also friendly, respectful, and extremely easy to work with. Most importantly, they produced three incredible cocktails our guests absolutely LOVED and were on top of ensuring the drink dispensers stayed full throughout the entire event. We were extremely happy with how everything turned out and would greatly recommend At Your Service Bartending. They know what they are doing! Thank you again, we look forward to working with you again in the future!

Couldn’t ask for better waitstaff for our wedding. My only regret is not hiring them for longer!
