I’m The Amazing Arthur Fratelli-Silknitter, a keynote speaker, magician, hypnotist, author, former teacher, TEDx speaker, and featured performer from Last Comic Standing who studied improvisation and comedy theory at The Second City Chicago. In other words, I have spent a good portion of my life learning how to hold attention on purpose, which is rarer than it ought to be, especially on the internet.

My background includes balancing objects on my face, bottle flipping, card throwing, juggling, jump rope, magic, martial arts, mentalism, top spinning, yo-yos, and, in the interest of alphabetical honesty, attempts at comedy. From all of them, I have learned the same basic truth: confidence is not born from perfection. It is built through failure, focus, adjustment, and eventually the flow state.

That is the heart of my work.

I do not just stand on a stage and talk about resilience, attention, and growth as though reading from a laminated motivational placemat. I turn those ideas into visible, interactive, often hilarious moments people can actually feel. The spoon, the lollipop, the balance, the wobble, all of it serves one purpose: to make the invisible visible and the message memorable.

At the center of everything I do is one simple idea: this is not a show about me being amazing. It is about reminding the audience that they are amazing too. My goal is not to say, “Look what I can do.” My goal is to create a moment where people see something in themselves more clearly: their focus, their courage, their ability to recover, and their capacity to do far more than they thought possible.

I have learned that failure is not the opposite of confidence. It is the training ground for it. You miss the catch. You drop the object. You lose the rhythm. Then you reset, recalibrate, and try again. That is true in magic, in martial arts, in speaking, in leadership, and in life. The wobble is not proof that you are failing. The wobble is proof that you are in it.

I’m also the author of Narcissists Gonna Narrs: An Empath’s Guide to Reclaiming Their Power and the upcoming The System: Mythologizing Your Past, Forging Your Future, and Finally Folding the Laundry, which may be one of the few titles bold enough to promise transformation and chores in the same sentence.

Whether I am delivering a keynote, performing live, or blending the two into one interactive experience, my purpose is the same: to wake up the room, make the message land, and leave people with more than applause. I want them to leave with perspective. With energy. With a story they will remember. And, ideally, with the unsettling realization that they may be a good deal more amazing than they had previously allowed for.
