What to Expect
I offer a wide variety of costumes, characters, and themes.
You need me in a devil costume on aerial tissu? Got that.
Well, no, now it's Mardi Gras/St. Patrick's Day/Oktoberfest? OK.
Actually, now it's Steampunk. And can you do that in 15' or less? YES.
I'm a full service performer - being an aerialist is merely one of the tools in my belt.
I also build my own costumes, work with excellent musicians and DJs to get the perfect music, and will happily rework my act to fit the music that fits your theme.
I also am my own rigger, and can safely rig my aerial equipment. If the venue requires Union rigging, or has their own rigger, I am not Union, but I will happily work with the on-site rigger to ensure the safety of all.
A dancer since her early childhood days, Ariyana has a background in a wide variety of modalities. As an aerialist, she brings more than gymnastics skills to the table - but also years of improvisational acting, character acting, music, and of course, a lifetime of dance.
To some, circus is glorified gymnastics. To Ariyana, it's art.
Additional Booking Notes
Aerialists need to be in the air. It's part of the job description.
I generally require 15' of height, and I need a secure 10' diameter circle of space directly under the point where my equipment is rigged where partygoers cannot enter while I am in the air. This is to keep them from getting kicked or hit by my equipment while everything is in motion.
That could mean a nightclub where the floor staff hold the crowd back during my performance (something I'm accustomed to), or it could mean a stage space that is secure.
For rigging, I need a secure single point that will take at least 1500 lbs of dynamic force without problem. Ideally it can be lowered to the floor for ease of rigging. If I must go up to the point instead, I need the use of a personnel lift to safely transport myself and my equipment up to the point.
The equipment also needs to be out of the way when I'm not on it. If the point can be raised and lowered, this is very simple, I just remove the equipment. If that's not possible, we will need to discuss how to keep my equipment safely out of the way when it's not in use.
If I must arrive early and leave late due to the rigging requirements of the space, this will need to be factored into the time I'm onsite - which will affect the cost.
