I would love to perform at your upcoming event, helping to make it unforgettable for all. I'm available to book in a duo with a pianist, or with my band (funk, jazz). Whether you're planning an intimate gathering or a high-energy celebration, I will help you achieve the vision! I'm comfortable performing in a range of settings, and my rate begins at $200/hr (per musician accompanying me) and are negotiable depending on setup and travel needs. My favorite part of performing is connecting with the audience and make meaning of the musical experience together—let's make it happen!

May 19, 2025Ariana Kertsman, the frontwoman for VUP, is in a word, sensational! Ariana’s extraordinary musicianship, harmonic depth, and lyrical interpretations are what sets her apart. Her voice is warm, infectious, and powerful! Her personal connection with the audience is genuine and invitational. Her musical approach is imaginative and intuitive, and her ability to put it all together into a fun and exciting collaborative process with her band and the audience is a joy to experience.
Ariana really knows how to bring the PARTY!
Ariana Kertsman has been instrumental in making VUP the most sought-after student band on the University of Michigan’s Campus. Whether playing to SRO crowds at the Blind Pig, commanding outdoor stage shows, appearing at private parties, or putting on impromptu porch performances, Ariana (and the amazingly talented musicians who love to play with her) always put on a spectacular SHOW! If you’re looking for a singer who knows how to shake the stage and bring the crowd to their feet then this is the performer for you! And the personal connection that the audience will feel long after the show is over, is really what makes Ariana's performances so very, very uplifting and special.
