He has served in a range of leadership positions during his tenure, and he is passionate about leadership and what works. Greg shares his leadership philosophy, which is based on his experiences leading diverse groups of people in a diverse environments. He believes that quality leadership principles can transcend generations. He holds a master's degree in Operational Studies from the Command and General Staff College and a Master’s in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University.

Gregory Archbold is a decorated Army veteran, seasoned leader, author, and keynote speaker
with more than 30 years of real-world leadership experience. He began his career as an
emergency medical technician before commissioning into the U.S. Army’s Military Police
Corps, leading teams across Afghanistan, Iraq, Italy, Germany, Bosnia, and Cuba, including
assignments supporting U.S. Special Operations. After retiring from the military in 2023, he
transitioned to the private sector as an Asset Protection Manager and corporate investigator,
applying operational leadership principles to protect people, assets, and organizational
continuity. Gregory is the author of Fail. Fight. Finish. Leadership Lessons You Don’t Learn in
the Classroom and has spoken at TEDx events, Fortune 500 companies, and national leadership
conferences. His presentations combine powerful storytelling with practical strategies that
inspire leaders to build trust, lead with purpose, and influence beyond their title.
My greatest influences have come from the leaders and experiences that shaped me throughout 33 years of military service.
I was influenced by leaders who demonstrated that leadership is not about rank or position it is about influence, trust, standards and the ability to bring out the best in others. I also learned valuable lessons from leaders who struggled, because those experiences taught me what I did not want to replicate as a leader.
My mentors, peers and the soldiers I had the privilege of leading also played a significant role in shaping my leadership philosophy. Experiences ranging from failure and adversity to leading teams in demanding environments reinforced the importance of accountability, preparation, communication and perseverance.
These experiences ultimately shaped my belief that people deserve a leader they can trust, respect and choose to follow—not simply someone who holds a title.
Those lessons continue to influence my speaking, workshops and leadership development work today.
