Was it the love of music or a conscious love of self that led Dorian Gibbs, aka Anubis, to it? Let him tell it, it was the latter, but after hearing his music, you’ll just be glad that he’s making it. A Detroit native, he moved to Los Angeles with his mom and siblings at the age of six. The move turned out to be destined, resulting in all of the family becoming entertainers.
The music of Anubis is current and relevant to daily life. Some of his music will make you dance, and some will have you close your eyes and click the repeat button, but in all cases, you will feel something connect.
