I am a multi-genre violinist specializing in playing solo violin for special events. While I primarily perform solo, I also offer small string ensembles. My repertoire is always growing and includes a wide variety of music including classical, contemporary, pops, jazz standards, fiddle, Irish tunes, etc. I also arrange custom songs for violin when requested. I can perform acoustic for intimate events or amplified for larger spaces.

Hello! I’m Anna Weddington, a classically trained violinist in Charlottesville, Virginia. I began playing violin at the age of three and have been playing in orchestras, bands, and other ensembles ever since. I am a Suzuki registered teacher and have degrees in Violin Performance and Music Education.

One of my favorite things about the violin is its versatility, and I enjoy incorporating violin into lots of different styles of music, both in my own performing career and in my teaching. My growing repertoire includes a varied mix of classical, jazz, pops, fiddle, Bridgerton-inspired music, you name it! I mostly perform solo but also offer string duos, trios, and quartets.

I traditionally play acoustic with no amplification. However, for larger spaces, I have a microphone and amp and can be amplified.

For outdoor events, I (and my violin!) require protection from precipitation and extreme temperatures.

I provide my own music, music stand, microphone, and amp.

I have no requirements for lighting or staging.
