What to expect

Expect very chill, folk/singer-songwriter vibes from my music, playing in the background or forefront of your event, for any duration up to 3 hours. With my acoustic guitar, I'll sing and play a mix of covers and originals, plenty of classics and some unique tunes -- a setlist I'm happy to tailor to your preferences. You can expect a steady volume level throughout my performance, and a quick 30min load in and load out time.

About

Anna Hudson is tired of trying to fit in. She knows what it’s like to feel out of place, stuck, or pulled in multiple directions at once. But songwriting has always been her bridge between chaos and peace. Raised in the small town of Winston-Salem, NC, Hudson draws inspiration from the vast array of American musical influences, and describes her sound as “Bon Iver if he were a 22-year-old girl.”

Her debut EP, Kyphosis, perfectly demonstrates the purpose and meaning of music in her mind: exploring both the natural and unnatural curves of life, friendship, and love while growing up.

Anna is a veteran gigging musician, having played regularly at restaurants and small local venues in the Winston-Salem, NC and Boston areas since 2019.
