Amazing Artist + Dependable

Great Performance

Anitra was a gem to deal with. We kept in touch prior to the event on the logistics and song choices. She was prompt as discussed. She came in 30 minutes for set up and looked at the space of where she was preforming. Song choices were good and loved her charismatic attitude. Very pleasant to deal with and glad I choice her to be apart of my event. Would not change anything.

Antira Jay - even better than you can imagine

We had a small event in our hotel lobby with about 30-40 attendees. Anitra Jay filled our lobby and bar with soulful acoustic music with the accompaniment of Rob on percussion. Anitra's music takes you away to places to both relax and energize you at the same time!!!
Her performance was more than we could ever have expected, and we look forward to having her come again next year.

The classiest party ive ever thrown

This past November, I hired Anitra to come over my house to provide the entertainment. This was the second time I had hired her. The first thing I love is that this woman is extremely punctual. She showed right on the dot and was ready to go. I felt bad because it was a little chilly on the porch where we set up for her to play and although we had a heat lamp, I knew it wasnt ideal conditions.

But just as she did the time before, she wowed my guests with her voice and guitar. Just like last time, everybody was asking me where I found her.

Not only is she a great talent but between sets she mingled with my guests and was always gracious and polite and infectious with her charm.

I will definitely have her play again, to a bigger crowd than before cause now all my friends are asking me when she is coming back.

Anitra is a gem, a real talent who absolutely makes a party.

Superb R&B/Neo Soul/Pop Singer with a voice of gold

Anitra Jay has a voice that is like no other. She has a voice that will fill you with a warmth you have never felt before. I enjoyed myself thoroughly when she came to Lynchburg, VA. I would travel any day to see her again.

Anitra Jay is an acoustic soul singer-songwriter based in Houston, TX. With a recent musical feature on HGTV's Tiny House Hunters, Anitra Jay presents a whimsically soulful all-caution-to-the-wind interpretation of music. Born and raised in New Orleans, Anitra's vocals highlight her roots in Jazz, Soul, and Gospel. With a musical style often compared to (link hidden)ie and Chrisette Michele, Anitra Jay offers a sweet down-to-earth blend of soul and poetry with modern sensibilities. Her personality and expert improvisational skills set her performances square between the raw edge of improv comedy and sultry soaked soul. She effortlessly combines soul-catching melodies with tales of real life experiences wrought with motivational messages that leave the listener entertained, inspired, and ready to take on the world. She is currently working on her fourth album, a whimsical take on life called "Work in Progress."
