She flowed beautifully with the DJ and even stepped in to sing additional songs when we had extra time, truly led by the Spirit. She was punctual, pleasant, and carried herself with such grace and professionalism. Anissa Stewart has a great determination to sing for God. She has sung with a host of ensembles, praise teams and church choirs along the way. Anissa has performed or shared the stage with artists such as Peggy Britt of Virginia, Men of Standard, J. Moss, Kevin Levar, and her cousin, Lil’ Mo. She has also graced the stage in 3 plays: “Many Ways In, Many Ways Out” (Maryland) “Krazy Court” (Ohio) and “Til Death Do Us Part (MD). Anissa recently completed her first solo project entitled “Anissa’s 42nd Chapter”. She is also a featured artist on a compilation CD entitled, “The Power of Praise, Vol. No. 1”, with Armorr Records (NY). She was also blessed to be featured in the "Afro Magazine", in 2011. Her music has been played on Heaven 600, in Maryland, and several internet radio stations. Anissa is currently working on her second project, and released her single “This Joy” in 2014, which is available on all major digital outlets. She currently serves as a Praise Team leader in her church, and sings for various concerts, award shows, conferences, and events.
