January 28, 2025Patricia was a big hit at our Valentine's Day event. Couples were lined out the door to get a reading from her. She took her time with each one and really added to the experience of the evening. Patricia was professional, on time and an all around pleasure to work with. Also just a fun and unexpected activity to have at an event or activation. Will definitely be using her again!

March 21, 2024I asked for a quote for a party of 8 people. This person stated since she lived close to me, and its a small gathering of 8 people, she would do the party for 90 mins at $200. She came 45 mins late as she needed to find a babysitter. She then asked for an additional $200 when she left as she went an hour over her time. This is very disappointing as reading her text to me, it was clear she quoted me for the event NOT per hour. I felt like she baited me to hire her, then asked for additional money in the end. She was lucky I am a good person and paid her as my guest all thought this was wrong of her, and I should not have paid any more money. I also told her as a business she should be more upfront with her customers, and it is VERY wrong to ask for additional money when it is not discussed beforehand. She needed to manage her time better to fit everything into the time frame she quotes. She also had to look every card up in a book, which took additional time. (or maybe this is normal?) This was my first experience with Tarot Card reading. I will get more information upfront if I ever do this again and it will not be with Angel City.

Ahead of the event, I communicated that my arrival would be closer to the scheduled start time rather than my usual early setup, due to a last-minute childcare change earlier that day. While en route back toward your location, I encountered heavy traffic and kept you informed by phone. Upon arrival, we were unable to locate one another, and it became clear that the address you provided to me was incorrect. This contributed significantly to the delayed start.
Once readings began, several guests required additional time. 1 guest paused her reading to leave for the restroom for an extended period (as she was feeling unwell), during which I waited for her return so she could complete her session. Other guests, including yourself, requested multiple follow-up questions and took additional time selecting cards. These factors affected the overall pacing of the event.
As we approached the originally agreed time, I checked in with you directly and offered two options: shorter readings for the remaining guests or continuing into overtime. You chose for all guests to receive the same in-depth experience, and I stayed beyond the scheduled 90 mins I was booked for to honor that request. I charged only my standard rate for the additional time, rather than my usual overtime rate.At the end of the event, your guests voluntarily pooled a generous tip and expressed how much they enjoyed their readings. You specifically told me to apply that tip to the overtime, which I did.
I take transparency very seriously and always confirm before extending time or fees. Tarot reading is something I offer with care and my intention is always to provide a meaningful experience for everyone involved.
While I regret that this experience was disappointing for you, I feel it’s important that the circumstances be represented accurately. I wish you well moving forward.

February 23, 2024Patricia was lovely to work with and made a very positive impression on all the guests who had the pleasure of a reading. Her readings feel connected and personal and guests sitting across the table from her were 100% engaged. Her energy is uplifting and warm, you'll see upon meeting her that she instantly feels like the close friend you didn't know you had. I work with events as a living and can tell she is a professional with experience in the events world - she was punctual, a great communicator leading up to the event, and knows how to engage with all types. Highly recommend and looking forward to having her at another event soon.
