Lisa was a big hit at our Halloween party! She was extremely communicative leading up to the event and was receptive to all of my requests (an early arrival time, leveling up her ethereal outfit/makeup to lean into the Halloween event, offering to bring table props and signs, being flexible to potentially extend her end time on the night of the event). She has a clear passion for what she does and as the host I could rest assured that she was fully prepared for her role at the party. My only feedback is that I wish more people could have had a chance to get a reading – Lisa was receptive to shortening the time per reading but at times it felt like guests were waiting a long time and that timers may have been exceeded. I do understand her passion in wanting to give everyone a great reading though and would absolutely hire her again! If you are looking for someone reliable and professional, look no further than Lisa for superior service.

I hired Lisa for my sister's bachelorette and she was very communicative and organized from the start. We had the absolute pleasure of having Tarot for Empowerment at our elementary school gala, and it was such a fun and unique addition to the night! Guests loved the experience—her readings were thoughtful, engaging, and brought such a positive, uplifting energy to the event.
She created such a warm and welcoming space, and her presence added something really special that people kept talking about all evening. It was a huge hit and definitely one of the highlights of the night!

What to expect
I always arrive early and come prepared. I will show up about 30 minutes to an event to introduce myself, set up, and learn of any special accommodations. I always keep a table and chairs in my car in case the location does not have them available. I also have on hand a variety of tablecloths, candles, card decks, and other items to make my area look attractive and appealing to guests.
I love working with people in-person at events; my personality is friendly, professional, and experienced. I enjoy and am at ease with what I do and bring that to each event. I keep track of time and always check in with the event organizer when the proposed time limit for my services is coming to an end. I also let them know when I first arrive if I have availability to stay later if needed.
About
I'm a professional Tarot card reader of nearly 10 years. I work with individual clients (in-person and remote sessions), private parties, retreats, womens' circles, and special occasions of all kinds (bridal and bachelorette, weddings, networking mixers, etc.). I was a resident reader for 3 years at Practical Magic Apothecary in Hermosa Beach. I'm also a featured vendor on the activities menu at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes for their event planning services, and a regularly contributing Tarot writer for Palos Verdes Pulse Magazine. I love working with people and making each reading a positive, insightful, and fun experience.
Additional booking notes
I prefer to be set up in an area that is quieter or off to the side so that I can hear the guests during readings. It's not always easy and I can work in noisy settings, but that would be my only request. Sometimes an organizer will put me in another room, on the patio, behind a screen or curtain, etc. I'm very experienced at working events and am adaptable to various accommodations.

None. I usually bring my own equipment unless the organizer wishes to provide the table and chairs.
