November 24, 2020Amazing experience during a difficult time
A lifelong trombonist and Dixieland fan, my 84-year-old dad was a bit down leading up to his birthday due to intense COVID restrictions to keep him and my mom safe. I hired the Angel City Dixieland Bank as a pick-me-up, and did it ever! The band as accommodating (we had to cancel once due to an unrelated hospitalization), responsive, talented and most of all - magical! My dad was wholly surprised by the impromptu concert in the back courtyard of his Wilshire high-rise and thoroughly enjoyed the music, the interaction with the band and the requests. Even though it was a small family gathering, it reaped huge benefits! Thank you Angel City Dixieland Band. In the words of my Pop, "This was the best gift I've had in years!"

June 25, 2014Amazing. You guys made our party INCREDIBLE!
Chris and his crew were able to make my surprise wedding proposal/surprise engagement party last Sunday truly one of the greatest days of mine and my fiancee's lives.
The timing of both surprises had to be impeccably tight: not a second could be sacrificed, otherwise it could very well have been ruined!
Needless to say, the band showed up on time, with great costumes, awesome attitudes, and a very generous dose of extra songs played at our outdoor party. The dixie music added a ton of life to an already-very happy party. It was exactly what I wanted and more.
Chris, again, thank you, and you'll definitely hear from us for our wedding in June of next year. You and your guys are awesome, and that isn't saying enough. We are still trying to process how fun it was. Thank you.
