Andy Sharp Piano

I can provide great entertainment for your event. Guests will enjoy listening to my solo piano arrangements. I play everything from blues to jazz standards, to Dave Matthews and Pearl Jam covers. I have played piano for over 25 years and would love the opportunity to play for you.

My name is Andy Sharp and I’m a piano/keyboard player living in the Denver Area. I was fortunate to start playing the piano at a young age. I grew up in Albuquerque New Mexico and moved to Denver in the fall of 2001 to attend the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music. During my time at DU I studied jazz piano with Eric Gunnison and received my BM in jazz studies in 2005. Since then I’ve been fortunate enough to play with many local talents here in the Denver area including: Dawson James, The Fox Street All Stars, the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra, Erica Papillion-Posey and many others. I have played Sunday services for two different churches in the Parker area.

With these various groups I have also played at many of Denver’s music venues including: The Gothic Theatre, The Blue Bird theatre, The Capitol Hill People’s Fair, The Grizzly Rose, Dazzle Restaurant and Lounge, Cervantes, Highland Pacific, El Chapultepec II and many more.
