Andrea Hernandez

Andrea Hernandez, from Chicago, IL, is a second year vocal performance major at North Park University. She has been studying under Dr. Elena Batman. Andrea is an Alumna of the world renowned Uniting Voices Chicago, led by Josephine Lee. Throughout the ten years that Andrea spent in this organization, she had the honor to participate in many memorable performances, including Lollapalooza and Saturday Night Live with Karol G (2023); Carmina Burana with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (2023); Christian McBride's The Movement Revisited at the Symphony Center (2024); the operas Hansel and Gretel (2023) and Queen of Spades (2020); Google Year In Search Studio Recording - Simply The Best (2024); and the National Anthem and America The Beautiful at NASCAR Chicago (2023/2024), to name a few. She has also participated in multiple tours with Uniting Voices to Egypt (2022), Mexico (2024), Lexington (2023), and Miami (2023). From (phone number hidden)4, Andrea was the worship leader of the Complete Women's Ministry. Some things would include, leading worship, picking the set list, and setting up equipment/sound system with her dad. Then in 2022, she founded the youth ministry Everlasting Ministry. In this ministry, Andrea plans multiple events every year with other youth leaders and partners with local churches to organize events with them. She also leads the worship team as the lead vocalist, as well as making music for the rest of the team.
