First off, I appreciate his willingness to go the extra mile consistently and deliver work; you will be proud of showcasing. If you're new to video marketing, it may be overwhelming at first with the amount of planning you will be required to do before filming. AMK Films currently holds a Part 107 Day & Night a Certificate of Waiver or Authorization COA from the FAA UAS Integration Office

AMK Films will manage the flight-related components of your shoot and will obtain the proper approvals from the FAA, local police and fire department.
Obtaining a Drone Film Permit can be a complex and time-consuming process. We handle all drone related paperwork for a smooth process so you can focus on the 10,000 other things needed for your production.
FAA Part 107 Certified Pilots
The FAA has deployed part 107 rules to govern the use of small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) - commonly referred to as "drones."
AMK Films currently holds a Part 107 & Authorization COA from the FAA UAS Integration Office, which is tasked with the "safe, timely and efficient integration of UAS into the National Airspace System."
There are more than 30 regulations associated with drone filming, and they affect nearly every aspect of the aerial videography for your shoot. Bring us in before you select a location and we'll make sure that you avoid "no-fly" airspace or that you can plan for the time and extra steps needed to get the proper approvals to fly.
We can help you navigate current UAS rules and requirements to make sure that your shoot fully complies with current FAA regulations. Contact us to discuss your project.
RULES
Part 107 requires that drone operators strictly follow a set of regulations and restrictions including:
- The small UAS operator manipulating the controls of a drone should always avoid manned aircraft and never operate in a careless or reckless manner.
- You must keep your drone within sight. Alternatively, if you use First Person View or similar technology, you must have a visual observer always keep your aircraft within unaided sight.
- You can fly during daylight or in twilight (30 minutes before official sunrise to 30 minutes after official sunset, local time)
- Minimum weather visibility is three miles from your control station.
- The maximum allowable altitude is 400 feet above the ground, and higher if your drone remains within 400 feet of a structure.
- The maximum speed is 100 mph (87 knots).
- You can’t fly a small UAS over anyone who is not directly participating in the operation, not under a covered structure, or not inside a covered stationary vehicle.
- No operations from a moving vehicle are allowed unless you are flying over a sparsely populated area.
- Operations in Class G airspace are allowed without air traffic control permission. Operations in Class B, C, D and E airspace need ATC approval
