Amira Brooks Flamenco

With over 20 years of experience, Amira Brooks is a passionate flamenco dancer, performer, instructor, and educator based in the Okanagan. She is dedicated to sharing the artistry, rhythm, and emotion of flamenco while creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students of all levels can grow.

Amira has trained extensively with renowned flamenco artists in both Canada and Spain, continually deepening her understanding of this rich art form. Her teaching combines strong technical foundations with musicality, cultural appreciation, and expressive movement, helping students build confidence while developing their own artistic voice.

Whether performing under the spotlight or igniting energy in the studio, Amira pours her heart into building a bold, thriving flamenco community in the Okanagan. She believes flamenco is for everyone—no matter your age, background, or experience—and she is devoted to making every class a powerful, inspiring, and deeply welcoming space where you can fully express yourself.

Her mission is simple: to share the passion of flamenco and help others discover the joy, strength, and connection that this beautiful art form offers—one dance at a time.

Amira simply requires a clean, flat, and level surface on which to set up her portable dance flooring. She will provide and set up the flooring, as well as the music and sound system if required.

If live guitar accompaniment is requested, any additional technical requirements will be arranged by Amira and may be subject to an additional fee.
