I am a Singer/Songwriter based in Colorado Springs, CO. and I want to sing for you! I write mostly Folk and Neo Soul Music that has a theatrical flair. I also do covers upon request (Before booking, I am happy to send you a rough recording within 24 hours to ensure my cover of the song works for you). I can fill in last-minute spots for events, open for burlesque shows, as well as weddings and birthday parties. If you want a song written for someone special, I can do that as well. Basically, if you need a dynamic singer, I'm your girl!

I am incredibly social and I LOVE sharing experiences through music. When my services are requested, the first thing I do is ask the person throwing the event or show what they are looking for from me and if they want only originals, some covers, or just covers. I ask about the venue and the size of the stage. Is this an event where you need the room filled with sound or am I there to perform and the audience to listen? I then put together a set list and I write out what I will say before I perform the songs. When I get up to perform, I introduce myself and the song. I like to start a conversation with the audience so expressing what the song is about and asking fun questions of certain audience members always makes it more interactive. I strive to make sure the audience has a great time and feels seen throughout the show. After all, they're paying to see it!
“Alpha The Musical” is a singer/songwriter from Colorado Springs, CO. Her style is more of an interaction than a performance. With a story to tell, she expresses situations we all go through and brings it all together musically and soulfully. My set lists are usually songs I've written. I do set lists with covers by request. I am incredibly flexible so if you aren't sure, ask me for a song you'd like me to cover and I'll send you a sample same day to ensure you approve!
I am HEAVILY influenced by a lot of big band music, Tom Waits, and Shara Worden. I love Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Melanie Safka, Janis Joplin, Tracy Chapman, Lena Horne, Sly and the Family Stone, Chet Baker, Lauryn Hill, John Legend, Michael Buble, and many others.
