my show is ideal for quiet meetings that want to listen to a guitar in background, flamenco and also brasilian jazz.
I issued a challenge to Alejo to make my 25th anniversary celebration special and it included mixing in some Indian songs with our regular favorite English songs and to add his flair for Flamenco. Alejo took up the challenge and delivered a performance that was nothing short of spectacular. He took the time to put together a playlist that was perfection and truly made our night spectacular. Thank you Alejo for your dedication to your art and for doing this for us.

Life long musician, born in Argentina in 1977, raised in Paraguay. Alejo Jimenez started his musical journey in his early childhood. As an adolescent, he studied both classical and electric guitar with important Paraguayan profesors: Kucky Rey, Luz Maria Bobadilla, Gustavo Viera, Pedro Martinez, Carlos Candia, and Emilio Paredes. In addition to studying piano at the Asuncion National Conservatory.
Jimenez has been actively developing as a flamenco guitarist, for the past 20 years. Alongside Emilio Paredes and the small flamenco community in Paraguay, he has played many stages, from accompanying flamenco dancers’ thesis’ to “penas flamencas.” Ultimately leading to the creation of Almandaluz, his personal project mixing his love for flamenco with the regional music of his heritage. Thus resulting in the self titled album, “ Almandaluz” recorded in 2011
