Ally Rose Music

My name is Alexandra Rose Czyzewicz. Those familiar with my work may know me as Ally Rose. I am a Polish-Italian American with a true love for my cultural background. Growing up in the Portland, Oregon area, I spent Saturdays attending Polish School studying the Polish language and weekly learning to speak the language with my Father. Both my parents are musicians and inspired me to play music. I spent my childhood studying violin, piano and voice. By the time I was 12 years old I had become obsessed with the idea of writing my own music, a feat which I first accomplished shortly after turning 13. This began what would be a long-lasting passion for and devotion to writing original music. At age 14 I discovered that I was also passionate about teaching music to others, and began teaching several private students. At 18 years old I began studying music composition at Marylhurst University, and then at Portland State University where I would receive my bachelors degree in 2015. I currently teach private violin, piano, voice, and composition lessons and play in a local band, The Casimir Effect. I compose original music in all capacities: for advertising, film, youth music programs, and anywhere else I can get involved. Each day is filled with music, my greatest passion!
