Allison McDermott is a circus director, performer and teaching artist who hails from the New England area but lives on the road in an RV and a suitcase of circus equipment.

Her great joy is performing, creating and directing circus. She trained circus at the New England Center for Circus Arts Protrack program. Some of her performance credits include Big Teeth Performance Collective, DFX Entertainment, Matica Arts, Cirqularity and ArtFarm. Allison is a working stilt walker and juggler with extensive gig experience at festivals, corporate events, schools and more. Her directing and writing credits include the New England Center for Circus Arts' Thank You for Waiting and Circophony's Enjoy the Silence.

Allison requires 10' ceiling height (when stilt walking indoors or in a tent). The performance space must be accessible (elevator is fine, multiple stairs can be a challenge). Most flooring is suitable for stilt walking, free of debris and standing water.
