Born and raised in New York City by two Filipino parents, Alleyah Kate was very heavily influenced by music - from ABBA, to The Carpenters, The Eagles, Donna Summer, America, Michael Bublé, Billy Joel, Céline Dion, Journey, Stevie Wonder, Bee Gees, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin... the eclectic list goes on.
