Cheryl took into consideration my favorite songs and played many of them while pictures were being taken prior to the processional march. She was very easy to work with and very professional. I would definately recommend her to friends and family looking for a violinst for any event.

Cheryl Zylla is the violin behind "A Beautiful Violin." I hired her plus a cello to provide the ceremony music for my wedding at the Minnesota History Center. I had heard the same combo play at a friends wedding at their cabin in rural Minnesota earlier in the year. She travels the state, but is based in the Twin Cities. They did a wonderful job! They arrive and are playing music 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. You will get a total of 90 minutes of music in the basic package, with the option of adding time for additional cost. We selected the ceremony songs, which included classical selections and the Beatles "Here Comes the Sun" for our recessional. Cheryl is willing to learn any song you request. She was easy to work with, professional, and added a classy touch to our ceremony and transition down to dinner. I would recommend her unconditionally.

Great! Cheryl played solo violin for our ceremony. I thought it sounded nice, and I wish we could have afforded the duo or trio! Overall, she was flexible with the pieces and had good suggestions.

Cheryl and company played contemporary and classic music during our wedding cereremony, and also before and after the ceremony - probably 2 hours in total. There were no problem what so ever....everything went well. Music was great and Cheryl took care of everything, including the planning of the order of the songs, the queing as part of the ceremony, etc. Everthing just flowed perfectly with very little prompting or input from me(us). Cheryl clearly is experienced and was very easy to work with. Thanks for helping make it a great event!

Cheryl did a fantastic job playing solo violin before, during, and after our ceremony. The music was perfect, and it was fantastic that she was able to adjust the length of the verses based on how long it took each member of the wedding party to get down the aisle. She was very easy to work with and she did a fantastic job!

Farm Wedding, 6/14/14: Cheryl and the Trillium Ensemble were wonderful to work with and added so much to wedding. I was undecided about the ceremony music and Cheryl provided lots of suggestions and guidance. The music was beautiful. I'd definitely recommend them!

We had an outdoor ceremony and new we wanted something better than an ipod and speakers. IF you listen to the music on their website you will fall in love immediately http://www.a-beautiful-violin.com/ We worked with Cheryl primarily through emails and planned everything, but she had an elbow injury and called the month before the big day, to let us know that her doctor said she had to cancel all of her august weddings, but she did tell us that Ginna was picking up all of the weddings so there was no need to panic. It was all very beautiful she worked with my nephew to play the hawiian version of somewehre over the rainbow he on the ukeule and her on the violin as a special piece

We had a great ceremony with the help of Beautiful Violin & Trillium Ensembles. All the songs we requested were played beautifully. My favorite part was the music played during the celebration of unity-sand ceremony. Our guests also enjoyed the beautiful violin during the cocktail hour. A Beautiful Violin & Trillium Ensemble are wonderful musicians. During the planning stages, Cheryl was great to work with. In email conversation, she was prompt, clear, and helpful. During the wedding day, the Trillium Ensemble were flexible. Our wedding location changed twice during the day (outside to inside due to rain, and then in cleared up – and we went back to outside). Trillium Ensemble were where they needed to be, even with all of these changes. The music for the wedding was SUPERB!! They have such an elegant sound that brought a level of class and beauty to the wedding. Cheryl and Trillium Ensemble really customized the wedding to fit our needs; they even played an Irish Song (which is where my –now husband – is from). It was great to bring his heritage into the ceremony. Cheryl and the Trillium Ensemble EXCEEDED expectations. We feel so lucky that we selected them for our wedding. We recommend them with high marks!!
