Kevin succeeded in making a “surprise visit” to my daughter’s Quinceñeara as a 1950’s crooner impersonating a young Elvis. My daughter’s theme for her Quince was a 1950’s cocktail party. Kevin was punctual and ready. His task was challenging as he had to “surprisingly” show up and quickly lead my daughter and husband into their father daughter dance to an Elvis tune. Although Kevin is an impersonator as a late 1960’s-1970’s Elvis, he did his best to impersonate the 1950’s Elvis, which is the only Elvis in whom my daughter is familiar. He engaged my daughter in the song he performed after the father daughter dance, adding some extra flavor to her party.

We had Kevin for a birthday party; no we had Elvis, Four Seasons/Franky, Willie Nelson and the Talking Heads. Unbelievable! He sounds just like and pretty much looks these singers. Next party we’re having Elton, Buffett, Clapton and Lightfoot! He really is off the charts!!!

We had Kevin come to both of our centers. We have the good fortune of having many wonderful “entertainment guest” come share their gifts of talent with our other visiting guest.
Kevin’s performances were very different! Kevin went from singing and sounding like Elvis to Jerry Lee Lewis to Elton John to Waylon & Willie, then “singing puppets” and a lot more. He sounded great! He was very funny and completely entertaining.
The activities directors at both centers said no one had ever done a variety show like that and put so much energy and effort in to being entertaining. I was told that many of our regular guests talked about his show for days afterwards.
If you ever have him for your party or event you can rest assured knowing your guest are in for a real treat!

I'm essentially a solo act and at the very least I have a microphone and a PA speaker accompanied by backtracks of the original hit songs. That said, I can build you almost any show you want when given enough notice.

So, the potential variables are numerous but at the very least I'll need a 110 volt outlet and some source of lighting even if it's the sun.
By the way, for most venues, in my opinion, unless you are planning a really big show and can afford a really decent band these back tracks "beat the band".
